Congratulations to KC defensive lineman Zavian Tibbs who was named as the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 25-31. This is the fourth KC football player this season to be honored nationally.
Tibbs, a freshman from Killeen, TX (Shoemaker HS) racked up 7 tackles (6 solo), three sacks for a loss and two quarterback pressures in KC's 55-18 victory over Tyler Junior College.
