Athens, TX: Kilgore College intercepted seven passes and forced eight turnovers in a 38-10 victory over Trinity Valley CC in Athens, stunning the No. 3 team in the nation, to advance to the Southwest Junior College Football Conference Championship (SWJCFC).
KC will face New Mexico Military Institute in Rosswell, NM, on Nov. 19, for the conference championship. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (MST) which is 7 p.m. our time (CST).
