It was a top National Junior College Athletic Association matchup, pitting No. 4 Kilgore versus No. 3 Trinity Valley, but the Rangers handily dominated the Cardinals in a 37-17 victory at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium.
KC quarterback Cam Peters was 14-of-28 passing for 283 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Zeek Freeman caught five passes for 182 yards.
