KILGORE, TX -- The No. 3 Kilgore College Rangers football team made a statement Oct. 28 with a dominant victory, 55-18, over the Tyler Junior College Apaches.
KC quarterback Cam Peters threw five touchdown passes (to Michael Phoenix, Zeek Freeman, Dominique Williams and two TD passes to Chris Marshall).
Backup QB Tyler Webb added a 67-yard TD pass to Melvin Polk at the beginning of the fourth quarter to put the game away.
This was the 131st meeting between KC and TJC. KC now leads the series, 67-62 with two ties.
