The National Junior College Athletic Association announced this week that Kilgore College has 12 student-athletes named to the NJCAA All-Academic Team.

"It's quite an honor for these student-athletes," said Courtney Pruitt, athletic director. "As an athletic department we strive to place academics before athletic competition, and these students excelled both in the classroom and on the field, as recognized by the NJCAA."

KC completes in the NJCAA with football, softball, men's basketball and women's basketball.
