Rangers defeat Navarro College in Corsicana, 81-70

CORSICANA, TX -- The Kilgore College Rangers muscled their way to put uncontested points on the board in the second half Feb. 3 to defeat the Navarro College Bulldogs, 81-70.

Navarro led 39-38 at the half, but KC found momentum in the second stanza to lead the Bulldogs, 65-58, with nine minutes left.

The Rangers built that lead to 10 points with three minutes left in the game, 74-64, and Navarro never caught up.

KC was led in scoring by Jamil Muttilib with 25 points. Willie Williams scored 16, KC Udilosa scored 14 and Camil Crosby scored 12.

With the victory, the KC men improve to 17-6 (7-5 Region 14), placing them in fourth place in the Region 14 standings.

Navarro College drops to 11-10 (4-7 Region 14).
